I've listened to this one at least 20+ times. It still amazes me after all these years how well the story was written and narrated and still makes me wanna come back and listen again. I hope Steven Pacey narrates more stories like this. He is absolutely brilliant.

like the PlayStation before it I remember the vita when I was in the military. got stolen shortly after I bought it when i was getting a drink on the mess decks I came back to my computer station I had set up only to find the vita was not there but the plug was. and when the PlayStation 1 came out something similar happened to my friend. I was hang out at his place waiting for mom to drive me home. but this day we got to his apartment and the door hinge pins were missing and the door itself was off the the side. and not a thing was disturbed in the entire place but the PlayStation was missing and all its parts was gone too.

I want to make the point that while I don’t know much about WoW this made me love Khadgar.

Not bad, but I prefer the german version of it. The narrator of the english version seems to haste through the entire script and that disturbs my taste of a thrilling story. The german narrator (David Nathan) takes his time and together with his unique voice he is able to create way more tension 😉

Wow. Steven Pacey narrating a Warcraft novel? If you guys want more of him telling equally epic tales, try The Blade Itself, and the six other books in the First Law world.
